Our first pick is Don’t Stop Mining for automatic pickaxes and a mining operation you can grow. If your idea of mining is exploring deeper, digging for treasure, working with a guild, or gathering several kinds of resources, the other games here each give you a different reason to play.
A Lovely Light makes Don’t Stop Mining. This is our creator-curated shortlist, ordered around a preference for automatic mining. “Best” means best fit for the reason attached to each entry; the order is not a popularity chart or the result of a timed test.
1. Don’t Stop Mining — our pick for automatic pickaxes
Choose Don’t Stop Mining if your favorite part of an incremental game is improving a setup that does the work around you. Floating pickaxes mine the ore on your pad, and selling ore gives you the next upgrade decision.
The personal operation is why we put our game first. Pets help with mining and can be merged, while rebirths give another run a lasting benefit. It is a good starting point when your search is specifically for automatic mining with a crew to build.
Pick it for: developing an automatic mining pad. Consider another game if: you mainly want the act of tunneling or uncovering buried objects. Automatic mining also does not, by itself, promise progress with the Roblox app closed.

2. Mining Simulator 2 — for going deeper into a mine
Mining Simulator 2, by Rumble Studios, is the option here for a mine-exploration focus. Its official description connects finding resources underground with improving your tools and backpack.
Pick it for: the next expedition and the equipment behind it. Choose this direction if a new resource deeper in the mine sounds more interesting than developing a pad-based operation. The appeal is a different focus, not a claim that one game has more content or better balance.
Read our Don’t Stop Mining vs Mining Simulator 2 comparison for a closer look at that choice.
3. Treasure Hunt Simulator — for finding something buried
Treasure Hunt Simulator, by HenryDev, gives digging a treasure-hunt purpose. Its listed progression includes improving your shovel, backpack, and pets.
Pick it for: the anticipation of a find. If “what is underneath?” is the question that keeps you digging, this is a more relevant recommendation than choosing a game solely because it also has pets. Shared features do not make two loops interchangeable.
Our Treasure Hunt Simulator comparison explains how that differs from our automatic mining setup.
4. Mining Simulator — for mining with a guild goal
The original Mining Simulator, also by Rumble Studios, lists mining expeditions, different worlds, collectibles, and guild activities in its current description.
Pick it for: a shared objective. If you are choosing something to play with friends, the guild emphasis is a concrete reason to put it on your shortlist. Discuss whether you actually want to coordinate before treating a group feature as a benefit: a shared goal works best when your friends want the same kind of session.
This is a separate experience from Mining Simulator 2. Use the official links to avoid confusing the two.
5. Epic Mining 2 — for a wider resource-gathering theme
Epic Mining 2, by QuintinityZero, describes underground resources alongside woodcutting and pumps for oil and lava. That mix makes it the different-theme choice on our list.
Pick it for: switching between kinds of gathering. If ore alone is not the attraction, look at whether this broader set of activities sounds more interesting. We would choose on that basis rather than assuming its age, current activity, or update cadence tells us how it will feel to you.
How do you choose the right mining game?
Start with the activity you want to repeat. Want your setup working around you? Start with our number-one pick, Don’t Stop Mining. Want to explore? Look at Mining Simulator 2. Want a buried find? Try Treasure Hunt Simulator. For a group objective, consider Mining Simulator; for a broader gathering theme, consider Epic Mining 2.
Then check the current experience. Features and availability can change, and a description does not establish performance on your device, progression speed, or the value of paid upgrades. Try the ordinary loop before spending Robux.
The best shortlist saves you from trying the wrong kind of game first. It does not need to claim that everybody should enjoy the same one.
